Smart landscape lighting that does not glare
Path lights, uplights, and a phone schedule — without a flood light on the garage.
Good lighting shows the walk, the steps, and a few trees. Bad lighting lights the neighbor’s bedroom. We place low-voltage fixtures for tasks first: the path from the drive, the patio edge, the front door. Accent comes second.
Smart control means zones and schedules you can change when dinner runs late or you are out of town. A mechanical timer in a wet box is how lights stay on at noon after a power blink. We set scenes you can actually use.
Wire is part of the landscape. We hide cable along bed edges and under mulch so a later planting day does not cut a run. Transformers go where they can be serviced. If a run needs line voltage, we say so and stay in our lane.
Lighting is a natural last phase after hardscape and planting. Doing it last means fixtures sit where the beds actually ended up, not where a drawing hoped they would.
